Safety measures and behavior to be followed in the facility

Hotel & Restaurant

  • Instantaneous detection of temperature before entering the hotel
  • Bilingual indications for the rules of conduct to be observed due to Covid19
  • Data retention is guaranteed only for the time necessary to overcome the Covid19 emergency
  • Staff equipped with all PPE as per protocol (mask, gloves, visors, gowns, shoes, headphones – all strictly disposable and ensuring the safety distance)
  • Medical surgical device sanitizing gels available to the guest, located in different areas of the hotel
  • Toilet mats at the entrance
  • Diversified entry and exit guided circuit to avoid gatherings
  • The objects supplied for use by the customer (example bicycles, internet terminals) are sanitized before and after each use
  • Regular sanitization of the contact points several times a day (example lift button panel, handles, desk)
  • Ability to send identity documents before arrival at the facility, so as to speed up activities at the Front Desk and reduce contacts with the reception operator.
  • The electronic room key remains in delivery to the guest for the duration of the stay and is sanitized at the time of return
  • Available telephone numbers to contact in case of medical need (example 112, medical guard, nearest hospital)
  • Possibility to disinfect luggage
  • Availability of masks and gloves for guests who do not have them
  • Active restaurant service, also for customers outside the hotel before reservation
  • Ability to request outdoor service, in our summer expanse
  • Respect distancing between the tables
  • Access to the restaurant is controlled (time slots and access)
  • Disposable condiments will be available
  • The table linen sanitized and certified BurnusHychem, is regularly replaced at every guest change and if absent, all surfaces in contact with sanitizing products are sanitized
  • The toilets in the common areas are for the exclusive use of the customers of the restaurant
  • The staff will have changing rooms and reserved services
  • In all common areas, an additional dry steam at 180 ° virucidal sanitization service will be set up in the night and daytime areas at times of lower attendance
  • Any unnecessary objects for the use of the service have been removed to try to limit the contact points and transmission of the virus as much as possible (eg carpets, information brochures, newspapers and magazines, service guide)

Breakfast service

  • The breakfast service will be “a la carte”
  • Upon your arrival you will be provided with the “breakfast menu” to be filled in with your preferences and the time you like to use the service
  • Ordered breakfast will be served in the breakfast room
  • Room service is available

Rooms

  • In addition to normal cleanings, a special sanitization will be made with specific solutions on all washable and contact parts.
  • Regular sanitization of each sensitive point (example remote control, telephone, handles)
  • The courtesies used in the bathrooms are in a disposable version
  • The use of the minibar will be guaranteed for its sanitization by a guarantee seal
  • The use of additional cushions will be guaranteed by a guarantee seal
  • The linen is sanitized certified by BurnusHychem
  • The staff who takes care of the regular sanitization of each room contact point is equipped with the maximum individual protection devices (mask, gloves, hair cap, gown, shoehorn, all in a disposable version)
  • Disposable sanitization materials for each room
  • The room will remain for the exclusive use of the Guest (once the key of the room has been delivered to the Guest, no person will enter it, including housekeepers, until the Guest leaves)
  • It will be possible to request a change of clean linen at our reception, active 24 hours a day
  • After the departure of each Guest, the room will be deeply cleaned and sanitized and will remain in quarantine for 5 days before a new use

Albergo dei Medaglioni occupies and ancient liberty palace situated in the historic centre of Correggio.

The careful selection of furnishings and finishes has given life to interiors exquisitely accommodating and comfortable, where every detail is cared with style and elegance.

The hall offers a class environment to guests that fully respects the philosophy of the hotel: “the warmth of home, the services of a hotel”.

Albergo dei Medaglioni has opened a new side in the adjacent historical building where the famous engraver, Samuele Jesi (1788-1853), was born. The expansion of our hotel is aimed at improving our services and increasing our offer of guest rooms, junior suites for families and hospitality suites for our comfortable meeting rooms.

Our elegant furnishings and attention to details make this new wing the ideal place for business meetings. Moreover, our refined and exclusive services will satisfy every possible need of even our most demanding guests.

After being completely renovated, this historical building now hosts the new part of the hotel. The decorated ceilings and the original parquet floor of inlaid softwoods in the Jesi Hall have both been returned to their antique splendour.

During the restoration, original parchment documents and drawings regarding the laying of the parquet were found and are now on display in the main hall of the building.

A free parking is available (limited and not bookable places) in front of the hotel and a video surveillance underground car park at the cost of 9 euros per night.

The hotel offers to its guests check-in from 14:00 and check-out must take place before 12:00.
